Q417 is excited to offer a special welcome this summer to our students. We will host a Summer Bridge program to begin to foster a strong sense of community among our inaugural rising 9th grade class.

This summer bridge program is an opportunity for new Q417 students to meet and get to know their fellow students, while having fun with robotics -- and hopefully learning about themselves.  The NYC FIRST STEM Center at Cornell Tech is the perfect place to gather and engage for this two-week program.

This program will be held during the weeks of August 8 and 15 at the NYC FIRST STEM Center at Cornell Tech, on Roosevelt Island. It will be led by the staff of NYC FIRST, our strategic partner in the design and programming of the school. For the two weeks of Summer Bridge, it will run each week from Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 3:00pm. It will be at no charge for students.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out this form  by July 8th. While we would love for all incoming students to join, attendance is entirely voluntary and we look forward to welcoming all our new students in September.

COVID-19 Policy: Q417 will continue to adhere to the NYC DOE's COVID policies, linked to here, in order to continue to prioritize the health and safety of our students.
